Homebrewed Goodness!

I apologize if this is the third or fourth time you’re reading a review on +65 Underground.
Trust me, I’ve already read a few reviews on the 3-CD collection. Not at all bored, to be honest. Cause seriously, how do you stop talking about it? For starters, no one did cover every damn track (or did they?). Secondly, there’s too many kickass bands featured.
Actually, this album kinda reminds me of the NOW Hits album. But slightly cooler and with a local twist.
Personally, I was beyond psyched when I saw Boredphucks’ Zoe Tay. That was MY anthem for the 1990’s. I was a sullen teenager and I thought the song was so much fun. The irony! Kept having it on loop.
It was a delight to see familiar names like Padres, Stompin’ Ground, The Oddfellows and Humpback Oak on the CD sleeve. Helped rewind a couple of years back. Not forgetting young guns like B-Quartet, Postbox and A Vacant Affair.
One word to sum the whole album. GOODIL! Enough said.
+65 Underground is perfect for the following:
• Folks who enjoy good music
• Folks who want to buy a local CD but can’t decide which album (“Aiya I like one or two song from this band. I also like one or two song from that other band. How now?”)
• Folks who like older stuff from Stoned Revivals to newer goodies like The Great Spy Experiment
Invest on this. Worth every penny.
